Conversely, the child abuse hotline reports in Texas have decreased 40-60%. “This is likely due to the fact that teachers and school employees make up a large portion of these hotline calls,” said Breanne Bradshaw with Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center.

Jennifer London and her family spread acts of love through United Families of America-Arkansas. … UFAA’s purpose is to end food insecurity in Southwest Arkansas. They provide food for after-school and summer programs, prepare Grab-and-Go meals, and deliver meals to those in need. London and her family began their mission October 15, 2017, at the W.T. Daniels Center in Texarkana, Arkansas. Today, UFAA serves approximately 5,000 meals per month throughout the Texarkana, Nashville and Lewisville, Arkansas communities.
