Food Security

Jennifer London and her family spread acts of love through United Families of America-Arkansas.

UFAA’s purpose is to end food insecurity in Southwest Arkansas. They provide food for after-school and summer programs, prepare Grab-and-Go meals, and deliver meals to those in need. London and her family began their mission October 15, 2017, at the W.T. Daniels Center in Texarkana, Arkansas. Today, UFAA serves approximately 5,000 meals per month throughout the Texarkana, Nashville and Lewisville, Arkansas communities. As food insecurity continues, particularly with the onset of COVID-19, UFAA continues to seek new avenues to serve. They currently have partnerships with Harvest Regional Food Bank and Texarkana College Food Pantry. Contact them to help fight against food insecurity in the community.
