Twice as Fine when there's Wine

A celebration of art, food, music and wine-It’s Twice as Fine when there’s Wine! … The Alzheimer’s Alliance Tri-State Area cordially invites you to join us for the 6th Annual Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival going on this Saturday, May 1 at beautiful Spring Lake Park in Texarkana from 11 am to 7 pm. You will enjoy twenty-four wineries, one beer booth, eleven restaurants, fifty-three artisan vendors and local musicians every hour! Shopping, eating and music are all open to the public at no charge.

2nd Annual Walking for Williams

We would like to invite the Texarkana Community to join us for our 2nd Annual Walking for Williams on Sunday, April 25! This family focused event will take place outdoors on the church grounds at Williams Memorial, 4000 Moores Lane.

CASA Colorful 5K

The CASA Colorful 5K and Family Run is back! Join us this Saturday, April 24, at Trinity Baptist Church for a morning full of fun for the whole family. The Kids Fun Run (ages 5-12) will begin at 8:30 am, followed by the Adult Run at 9:00 am. The race begins with each participant releasing a bag of color into the air creating a beautiful burst of color at the starting line. Stations will also be located throughout the race where runners will be showered with brightly colored powder.

Despite all the other important things that compete for her time, Joan Carter, our own hometown treasure, has made it her mission to do exactly that. She is a woman who has made it her mission to lighten the burden for thousands of Texarkana residents for over five decades now.
