Crock Pot Pork Chops
With three very busy kids, we often rely on crock pot meals. School is starting this week, and I am pulling out my go-to recipes to make our lives a little easier. After a long day of school and multiple practices, it is nice to come home to a dinner that is ready to serve. This is one of our favorites. Even my pickiest eater enjoys this meal. It provides protein and vegetables in one easy prep and easy cleanup recipe.
Crock Pot Pork Chops
INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup olive oil
2 cups chicken bone broth
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
4-5 yellow potatoes, quartered
1 bag baby carrots
½ yellow onion, sliced
4-5 thick cut boneless pork chops
Salt and pepper to taste
Spray crock pot with nonstick cooking spray. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Place pork chops in the crock pot. Put potatoes, carrots, and onions on top of pork chops. Combine olive oil, broth, and seasonings to create a sauce. Pour the sauce over the top of the vegetables, cover, and cook on high for 4 hours. Serve over rice.
