Maud High School Class of 2024 Top Ten
Micah Bishop
Micah Bishop is the valedictorian of Maud High School's class of 2024. He is the son of Sharie and Josh Bishop. Micah is a high honor graduate in the top 10% of his class, a Texas Scholar, and a member of the ACT’s Silver Award Club. He actively participated in the Maud chapter of the National Honor Society and the Maud Student Council. As a valued member of the Maud Athletic Program, he competed in football, basketball, baseball, golf, and track throughout his high school career. Micah plans to attend Texas A&M University in Texarkana.
Graham Hawkins
Graham Hawkins is the salutatorian of Maud High School's class of 2024. He is the son of Julie and Jason Hawkins. Graham is a high honor graduate in the top 10% of his class and a Texas Scholar. He served as an officer in the Maud FFA program and participated in Ultimate High School Fishing throughout his high school years. Graham was also a member of the National Honor Society and the Maud Student Council. In addition, he participated in several sports as part of Maud Cardinal Athletics, including football, basketball, and baseball. Graham plans to attend Arkansas State University Three Rivers to play baseball and major in General Studies.
Bayla White
Bayla White graduated third in Maud High School's class of 2024. She is the daughter of Kim and Billy White. Bayla is a high-honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. As a member of the Maud Lady Cardinal Athletic Program, she played volleyball, basketball, softball, and golf throughout her high school career and was a varsity cheerleader for all four years. Bayla was also a member of the National Honor Society and served as both a class officer and an officer in the Maud Student Council. She plans to attend Texas A&M University in Texarkana and major in General Studies.
Brooklyn Henderson
Brooklyn Henderson graduated fourth in Maud High School's class of 2024. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Michael Henderson. Brooklyn is a high-honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. She was a prominent member of the Maud Student Council, serving as president her senior year, and also held a class officer position. Additionally, she was a member of the National Honor Society. Brooklyn participated in volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and was a multiple-time state-qualifying powerlifter as a valued member of the Maud Lady Cardinal Athletic Program. She was also a varsity cheerleader. Brooklyn plans to attend East Texas Baptist University in Marshall to join the Acro & Tumbling Team and major in psychology.
Kylee Martin
Kylee Martin graduated fifth in Maud High School's class of 2024. She is the daughter of Mary and Cody Martin. Kylee is a high-honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. She served as an officer in the Maud FFA program and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Maud Student Council. Kylee plans to attend Southern Arkansas University to pursue a degree in nursing.
Lilyan Birthright
Lilyan Birthright graduated sixth in Maud High School's class of 2024. She is the daughter of Melanie and Michael Birthright. Lilyan is an honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. Throughout high school, she was an active member of the Maud Lady Cardinal Athletic Program, participating in volleyball, basketball, softball, and golf. Lilyan was also a member of the National Honor Society, a senior yearbook editor, and a member of the Maud Student Council. Additionally, she was involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Lilyan plans to attend Northeast Texas Community College to pursue an associate degree and become a physical therapy assistant.
Jayden Munoz
Jayden Munoz graduated seventh in Maud High School's class of 2024. He is the son of Raquel and Chad Robinson. Jayden is an honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. As a member of the Maud Cardinal Athletic Program, he participated in football, basketball, baseball, and track. Jayden was also active in the Maud FFA program and served as the president of the National Honor Society. He plans to attend Midwestern State University to major in physical therapy.
Carlee Holder
Carlee Holder graduated eighth in Maud High School's class of 2024. She is the daughter of Penny and Jimmy Holder. Carlee is an honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. Throughout high school, she was an active member of the Maud Cardinal Band.
Trevor Carrell
Trevor Carrell graduated ninth in Maud High School's class of 2024. He is the son of Toni and Buddy Carrell. Trevor is an honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. In addition to his academic achievements, Trevor earned his welder helper certification during high school.
Rip Thomas
Rip Thomas graduated tenth in Maud High School's class of 2024. He is the son of Melissa and Cory Thomas. Rip is an honor graduate and a Texas Scholar. As a member of the Maud Cardinal Athletic Program, he participated in football, basketball, baseball, golf, and track. Rip won numerous All-District athletic awards and was a two-time District Golf Champion. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.
