GoTXK Design Contest
The goTXK team at Leadership Texarkana is thrilled to announce the reboot and extension of the 2024 goTXK Design Contest! Due to internal organizational transitions, the contest timeline has been adjusted, and we are excited to relaunch this creative initiative to inspire even more personal expression and celebration of our community.
2024 Contest Focus
The rebooted contest invites unique and imaginative design submissions that reflect an aspect (or aspects) of Texarkana, USA, fostering the designer’s personal love for our community. These designs will be judged on their creativity, individuality, and the celebration of what makes Texarkana special.
Contest Timeline
- Submission Deadline: December 4, 2024
- Top 3 Designs Announced: December 6, 2024
- Public Voting Period: December 6–11, 2024
- Winner Announcement: December 16, 2024 (via the goTXK newsletter)
The winner will be profiled in a future goTXK blast, with additional coverage on goTXK’s Facebook page and website. The winning design will be featured on three complimentary t-shirts, along with goTXK swag and gift cards to local restaurants showcasing Texarkana favorites. All top three designs will be showcased on the goTXK site, with options for public merchandise purchases featuring their artwork.

Growing the Competition
Leadership Texarkana aims to engage more citizens in this year’s competition, encouraging creative perspectives on Texarkana’s vibrant culture and authentic charm. Designs should celebrate the assets that make Texarkana a place its citizens love, expressed through creativity and excellence.
The inaugural 2022 contest invited participants of all ages to showcase “What’s to Love in Texarkana,” resulting in 27 entries from across the community. In 2023, the contest celebrated Texarkana’s 150th birthday. This year, we look forward to even more dynamic participation as we continue to spotlight the unique spirit of TXK USA.
