Community Unity Day 2023
On Saturday, May 6th, Texarkana’s non-profit Just Love and Kindness.org will host a Community Day from 11 am to 3 pm at the Four States Fairgrounds. Community Unity Day is a day dedicated to providing a fun, safe environment for students in 9th-12th grade to come together as a community and meet new friends while having a fun day.
Just Love & Kindness aims to promote the development of young people, veterans, and the forgotten and underserved members of our society in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual potential as individuals and as responsible citizens as members of the community.
Social Conscience is about being aware of problems that affect other people, especially our youth (also, veterans and underserved) communities, and then striving to do something about those problems.
Community Unity Day Details:
If you are going to the Wine Festival, drop your child (9th-12th grade only) off so they can have fun, too. This is a 100% FREE Event with SCHOOL ID/ LEGAL PROOF OF STUDENT ENROLLMENT. The following schools have chosen to participate: GENOA ISD, HOOKS ISD, LEISD, TASD, and TISD. Just Love and Kindness looks forward to a successful and exciting Community Unity Day.
Safety Protocols: Walk Through Metal Detectors (2), TAPD, MCSO, TTPD, BCSO, and school resource officers. ZERO Drama Policy and Protocol.
The first 200 kids to arrive will receive a free t-shirt. There will be food, drinks, entertainment, and free giveaways.

Donations are always appreciated. Parents are welcome to chaperone their students, but we might ask you to work.
