A Gift for Jesus
As we celebrated the Christmas season, Ms. Laurie's class was mindful of the reason for this very special time of year: The birth of Jesus. The greatest gift is the gift of love from God for all of us. Jesus is a gift for us and since it is his birthday, Ms. Laurie asked her students what gift they would give Jesus. Here is what they said:
Cutter - a monster truck
Gemma - a star
Tex - something to paint
Callen - a t-shirt
Hudson - my hands
John Allen - a remote control car
Ruger - a toy car
Anna Mae —a house so he doesn't have to sleep in a stable
Hutchins —a new t-shirt
Ezekiel —little monster trucks
Max - a toy
Aurora - a whole new house
Emmy - a teapot
Chandler - my love
