This year is also characterized by the simple, more traditional looks that we have seen in past years, such as lace and the classic little black dress. Truth be told, anything goes this season! Homecoming 2021 is a matter of personal style! Girls and guys alike seem to be going all out and expressing their personalities with their choice of ensemble. After a year without many homecoming festivities, everyone is making the most of this season.
GEB Special Occasions is a locally owned and operated business that caters to young women and men shopping for the perfect special occasion outfit. Formerly a part of Gracyn Elizabeth Bride, GEB Special Occasions expanded early in 2021 to a new, separate space conveniently located right next door. We saw the need for a larger inventory and a unique shopping experience than we could offer within the bridal store. Since our expansion, we have tripled our inventory and added many new designers. We specialize in designs by Sherri Hill, Jovani, Ashley Lauren, Mac Duggal and Primavera. We strive to provide our customers with the selection found in larger cities without the time and expense of traveling out of town. In fact, GEB Special Occasions is one of the largest Sherri Hill retailers in the state of Texas! In addition to our dress designers, we offer jewelry and accessories by Jim Ball to add that finishing touch and make your homecoming ensemble complete perfection!
There are endless advantages to shopping locally for your homecoming needs. One of the most significant being our homecoming and prom registry. We work very hard to ensure we do not sell the same dress to multiple customers from the same school. We register each dress to the particular event that it is being worn and keep a registry that we can refer to throughout the season. We cannot guarantee someone won’t have the same dress, but we can guarantee it won’t be sold by us! Another advantage worth mentioning is our caring and knowledgeable staff. Our GEB Girls make it their mission to give each customer a personalized experience when they shop with us! Our girls work very hard to find the perfect dress with the perfect fit for every girl that walks through our door. We will send pictures and call with new arrivals and styles that we think will fit the needs of each and every customer. If you are looking for a particular dress, we have the ability to check inventory with our designers in real time and place a special order that will usually be received within a few days. We also have a direct line to our designer reps if needed and they can make suggestions of similar styles that are in stock and available for immediate shipping. We know shopping for a dress is a very exciting and important event in a young woman’s life and it is our goal to make that experience as fun and stress free as possible!
We don’t just have looks for the girls either! We also carry rentals by Jim’s Formal Wear and Paul Morrell Formal Wear. Ranging in styles from the traditional black suit or tuxedo to modern prints, colors and fit styles, we can put together the perfect homecoming look for guys as well. There are many new styles this year that allow guys to express their unique personalities, whereas in past years the choices were a bit more limited. We take measurements in store and have try-on pants, coats and shoes to ensure the best fit possible. Rentals are picked up and returned right to us with no laundering or cleaning involved! It really makes the entire experience so easy for the guys, but more importantly for moms and dads!
