Bougie Grubs Taco Tuesday
Birria Tacos
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 pounds stew meat
- 1 jar of ranchera salsa
- 32 ounces beef broth
- 1/2 cup of onion
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons Mexican oregano
- 2 teaspoons crushed red peppers
- 5 bay leaves
- Corn tortillas
- Shredded Cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Brown Stew meat in a greased skillet.
- Move meat to crock pot.
- Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on high for six hours.
- Remove meat and shred.
- Dip tortilla in broth (consume) in crock pot and place in a hot greased skillet.
- Add meat and cheese to half of tortilla.
- Fold in half and toast both sides.
- Place some of remaining broth in a bowl and top with cilantro for dipping taco.
- Enjoy!
