Texarkana Regional Airport- United Airlines Ribbon Cutting
On Sunday, February 13, 2022, the Texarkana Regional Airport held a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the inaugural flight with United Airlines to Houston, Texas. The celebration was located at Gate 1 in the terminal building. Airport Director, Paul Mehrlich, United Airlines Executive Vice President/ Chief Customer Officer Toby Enqvist, Texarkana Chamber of Commerce CEO Mike Malone, Texarkana Texas Mayor Bob Bruggeman, Texarkana Arkansas Mayor Allen Brown spoke during the ceremony. The community and many other local dignitaries were in attendance for the momentous day. The flight to Houston will be once a day and is a 50 person passenger aircraft.
